25 May Hackathon kick off – Amista
Working on the SAPience Hackaton in 2021 style means video calling with a smile.
Our team is thrilled to join this special hackathon challenge.
Mostly because we can work together as one team with awesome colleagues.
Also because we get five weeks to deliver the most promising project for our use case.

When we asked for a use case to join this hackathon, our head of HR Ilse had a great idea.
Internally, we are using a planning tool that is both used by and accessible for consultants, team leads, admin and finance managers. Consultants can enter their timesheets that form a reliable basis for monthly billability reports. These reports/data can be used to invoice customers in a timely and correct manner.

Ilse had the idea to make an extension on this planning tool by adding the expenses .
As of today, our consultants must add all their expenses they make for work in an old school Excel and get permission by the head of Finance or their Team lead.
Integrating those expenses to the planning tool will provide more insights in costs etc.

During the first meeting we were able to make some basic mockups and discuss the technologies we would like to use: iRPA, SAPUI5, Business Technology Platform, JAVA and SAP HANA schema.
